In 2010, Owlwise founders observed that schools and sports clubs were often years behind the business world in terms of using technology to improve processes and communications. They were frustrated by the lack of visibility on what their children were doing at school and how they were performing. As busy parents, they were also dismayed by the amount of paper documentation, forms and checks they needed to handle.
